Sing & storytime with Miss Chloe 老师歌唱/故事小组 aka. 日常溜娃 (FREE) : Thursdays, 9:30-10:00 am, followed by free play afterward
This informal gathering was created organically to get parents with toddlers together to share resources and experiences. We are here to support our Chinese-speaking families and give their toddlers an outlet to learn and play before school begins. Our very own Miss Chloe 林老师 hosts these weekly play dates at various parks in Santa Barbara and Goleta. Sing-along session is only 30 minutes long and starts at 9:30am sharp, so don’t be late! Parents are welcome to hang out and socialize or picnic together afterwards. Reach out to Miss Chloe to join the WeChat group today.
Private Mandarin or Cantonese Playtimes: Customized time and location
Form your group of 4-8 students and we can work out a time, space, and curriculum that is suitable to your children’s needs. Subject to instructor availability. Get in touch here.
since elementary schools end early, we bring Chinese club to the school!
In an effort to offer more practice during the week, we partner with various schools to provide play-based after school enrichment “classes,” modeled after our Chinese Club activities table. Contact us if you’re a school representative who would like to add Mandarin Chinese to its afterschool curriculum. If you currently attend the following elementary schools, please look out for sign-up notices directly from the school, or enroll directly via our Homeroom Portal.
SCHOOL POLICY & Please reference our academic year calendar to plan accordingly. Thank you!
TUITION: After School Enrichment Programs at various elementary schools are individually priced and may be accessible via Homeroom, depending on our Partner schools. Chinese Clubs are membership/donation-based. Thursday play dates are always FREE.
MEDICAL RELEASE, MEDIA RELEASE, AND LIABILITY WAIVER: All students/guardians are to sign this mandatory waiver before attending our class.
Consistent attendance is recommended for students to maintain progress. Absences are at the discretion of the students and their respective family members, though students/families should notify in advance of any class that will be missed.
Students must be potty trained and have basic communication skills in order to attend our in-person classes or Chinese Club. Our youngest students tend to be at least 4 years of age.
Unless there is an emergency, leaving class early and chronic tardiness is not acceptable. Students are expected to attend the entire period of class. Please plan your other activities to begin after classes have ended.
REFUND POLICY: Withdrawals prior to the start of class can be refunded, less a $50 administrative fee to cover the cost of registration services. To be fair to teachers and students who commit to attend 100% of the time, withdrawals after registration closes - including sick leaves - are not refundable.
